GMEFI’s first approved project proposal under its Community Educational Fund Assistance Program, originally titled “Educational Assessment and Formulation of Individualized Educational Programs for Indigent children with Special Needs,” will culminate tomorrow. In collaboration with Autism Society of the Philippines’ (ASP), the project retitled “Assessment and IEP Formulation Simplified” ends with a workshop to be held tomorrow, March 19, from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the seminar room of the ASP Headquarters, #9 11th Jamboree St., Barangay Sacred Heart, Quezon City.
The workshop shall be facilitated by:
- Antonia Blanca, PhD – former principal of Bagumbayan Elementary School and former Asst. Chief, Bureau of Elementary Education-Special Education Division, Department of Education
- Elizabeth Villanueva – Rey-Matias, MD, PT and PhD in Special Education
- Jason Martin R. Reyes – MA in Education Major in Special Education
- Cecilia S. Sicam -Trustee, Board Secretary and Education Committee Head, Autism Society Philippines
